Tier 2: Setting up Your Garden
This is a 1.5 hour in-person package to help decide what steps you need to take to get started.
In this session, we will decide what type of garden you will be utilizing and talk about sourcing materials on a budget.
- Learn how to choose your garden beds (my first garden beds were free! I will teach you how to source all the materials you need on a budget)
- Know how to position your garden to best utilize sun/shade
- Learn which plants are sewn directly and when
- Figure out which soil is best for you (learn how to not break the bank with soil and have more money for other splurges in your garden)
- Did you know that the average garden spends over 1000.00 filling garden beds with soil? What if you could fill yours for only 200.00 AND have it delivered right to your home? (That would fill roughly two 40 ft long garden beds, 3 ft wide, by 1 ft tall – that is a lot of growing space!)
- Learn when and how to amend your soil throughout the season to ensure a strong harvest.
- Learn about utilizing trap crops to lessen pest pressure.
